Today I wanted to talk about Self-Care Sunday. Sundays are just my days to relax and chill. Self-care is a term that many uses to just spend time taking care of themselves. For me, that is pampering myself. I usually do my home facials, hand scrubs and feet scrubs just to get myself prepared for the work week ahead. I do at times schedule my spa facials and massages on this day as well at least once every 2 months. The spa that I love going to now offers Sunday appointments which is pretty awesome in my book.
Women and men I feel need to take a day to just self-care. It helps with distressing and just making you feel great about yourself overall. On Sundays, I love to also sleep in to catch up and just get refreshed so I can get my mind and body ready for the start of the new week.
Self-Care Sunday is also my day hit the pool. I, unfortunately, don’t live in a community with a pool so we either go to my gym that has an awesome outdoor pool area and offers great cabanas for its members to just chill in or during the summer a few hotels in Nashville open up their pool area to guests not staying at their hotel on certain dates and times.
Last but not least I usually try to do Yoga/Pilates when I wake up on Sundays. I don’t always have the time to get a yoga or pilates session in during the week and Saturdays for me are hectic in itself. Yoga/Pilates helps keep me in shape and just helps clear my mind.
