Celebrating 7 Months of Blogging!!!

Hi all,

This week I want to focus on my journey being a lifestyle blogger.  When I started this journey 7 months ago I had no idea where this journey will lead me.  I was a bit terrified at first at sharing my thoughts with the world.  Since starting this journey I have met fabulous people and even other bloggers.  The blogging community in Nashville, TN is pretty large and is growing at a fast pace.  I have also loved that I have awesome subscribers and followers on social media. Have I made any money blogging yet? The answer is no.  I chose to pretty much focus my first year at just getting my blog out there and perfecting my craft.  I would love to score some paid collaborations in my future but as of right now it’s not my main priority.

Blogging for me has been so therapeutic and I feel that I now have found a passion that I am truly excited about.  I love sharing with you all my makeup reviews or what going on in my life right now.  I extremely love the responses I get from other mothers when I write about rising my 13-year-old daughter.  My life has taken a huge turn as far as my happiness and I have pretty much taken my subscribers on that journey with me.

I can’t wait to be able to share more of myself and thoughts with the world. I can truly say that blogging is pretty awesome.  Blogging for me isn’t truly about making money.  I just really love doing it.

I haven’t made plans for my 1-year celebration but once I hit that mark, I am looking at being more active on IG and starting to do more fashion posts.  I plan on working with a photographer real soon to basically capture and show off my style.  I also hope that I will eventually land some sponsorships deals and just continue to grow my brand.

I really appreciate you all and I hope you all will continue on with me on my fabulous journey.

XOXO

  1. Happy 7 month anniversary :). I think I’ve been blogging about that long as well (with my new blog at least), which is hard to believe. I agree that it can be therapeutic and it’s also very rewarding to get responses from readers and know that you are helping others. This keeps me going on those days when I consider throwing in the towel.
