Maybelline Cosmetics: Makeup on a Budget Series

Hello all,

This week as part of the  “Makeup on a Budget Series” that I will be featuring Maybelline Cosmetics.  Maybelline Cosmetics has been a staple drugstore brand for over 100 years and was pretty much the very first cosmetic brand that I started using in high school. Fast forward to today and Maybelline is still a major powerhouse in the drug store brand industry and yes Maybelline is giving prestigious brands a run for their money.

Maybelline is not out here to play and I am all for it.  I also truly love that Maybelline is offering more and more options for women and men of color. I have to admit that I use Maybelline products every single day that I wear makeup.  There are times that I will wear some prestigious brands but even then, I am still using a Maybelline product in some form or fashion.

The brand has had some major product releases this year.   They have added more foundation shades to their most popular Super Stay Foundation in which I love and they have also added more shades to their Instant Age Rewind Concealer.  The most exciting product that they just released is their Super Stay Foundation stick that can be used as a foundation, concealer, and a highlight.

If you have read any of my past blog posts, you will know that my favorite highlighter ever is the Maybelline’s FaceStudio Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter. I love this highlighter so much that I have all 4 highlight shades.  I also truly love Maybelline Mascaras. I currently use the Volum Express Colossal Mascara Falsies Mascara, and the Volum Express Colossal Big Shot Mascara.  All depending on where I am going pretty much determines what mascara I will probably wear for the evening.

There are a few more products that Maybelline just released that I am dying to try so stay tuned for some future product reviews.

Well, that’s all for this week. Feel free to like and comment below. Stay tuned for next weeks post.
